Nameless Catering is a child of two worlds—the discerning taste of restaurateur Jeremy Brown and the business acumen of entrepreneur Jayson Manship. Although going into business together hadn’t been a lifelong dream or even a vision within the realm of possibilities, when an opportunity to rent a little kitchen in Fountain Square appeared, the two friends found themselves confronted with a new door to an unexplored frontier. The conversation was brief. It wasn’t “why,” but “why not?”

With the alliance forged and the documents signed, Manship and Brown began hashing out a plan for their lean start-up. With none but their own money to jumpstart the business, they would be pulling themselves up by their bootstraps. Financially strapped, they needed to be savvy about their debut. Everyone has seen the “new and improved, best fill-in-the-blank” restaurant surge into the food industry and suddenly collapse like a burst carnival balloon, resources exhausted and relationships fractured. Determined not to become one of those failed and faceless enterprises, the duo opted to ease into the venture slowly.

We did our homework, grilling industry insiders and experts, like chefs and food suppliers, to find the right recipes to produce savory and sensational catering options. No secret family recipes, no gimmicks—just fresh ingredients mixed and matched in both classic and unexpected combinations. A true synthesis of old, new, borrowed, and yes, even blue…cheese, Nameless Catering was born. Legwork accomplished, recipes selected, suppliers and staff hired, we prepared to open the floodgates.

Nameless Catering launched in January 2014 as a delivery-only catering service. Ironically, our Nameless Catering had been making quite a name for itself in the Indianapolis area. We had received so many requests for additional menu items we brought on an Executive Chef to produce new items.

And of course, we’ve saved the best for last—the question on everyone’s mind. Why “Nameless” Catering? Is it some kind of statement? No. Honestly, when Manship and Brown first talked over the venture, they only could dream-up some off-off-Broadway mediocre names. They didn’t want something lame, and they didn’t want to waste unnecessary gobs of time trying to invent a clever play on words. So, they chose nothing. After all, what’s in a name? As a Verona native once pointed out, nothing. Ergo, better no name than a bad one, and that’s the decision we’ve stood by.Perhaps some day we will formally christen ourselves. We might even let our customers help us choose our name. We know people are supposed to name a business before they produce, but normalcy’s not really our style!



Jeremy is a life long restaurant worker that changed into entrepreneur who is constantly looking for a better way to do things.  He is laser focused on customer service, and nothing is more important than customer satisfaction.  Jeremy spends his days at the company office and test kitchen in Noblesville, but he always finds time to  stop by co-working spaces and Nameless kitchens to help the company stay in tip top condition.



Executive Director

Max graduated from Ball State University with a bachelors degree in Entrepreneurial Management.  Max was awarded the Outstanding New Venture award for his business plan (written for a new fast-casual concept). As fate would have it, a Nameless co-owner was an evaluator of Max’s plan, for which he enjoyed so much, he offered Max a job on spot during the evaluation.  Max works on the bigger picture strategies to help take Nameless to the next level. A stranger to no one, Max enjoys networking with potential clients and partnering with other administrative personnel to get the job done.  With a love for fishing (and not always catching), Max understands that hard work and persistence pay off.


Company Administrator

Leanna is the queen of all things administrative.  She comes from the South – if you ever talk to her over the phone her accent might make you notice.  Leanna makes sure that bills are paid and the trains are on time all the time.  She works from home, but her cats keep her company. Leanna only accepts perfection and she makes the company better routinely.  Recently married to the love of her life, Chad, she is learning the Indy landscapes and keeping our clients happy.


Wedding and Event Coordinator

Neely runs everything weddings and events related.   She walks all couples through catering one of the most important days of their lives.  Her extremely detail oriented personality and always-on-call mentality make her an awesome part of the Nameless team.  She loves college sports and hates the fact that Jeremy has never seen any movies that she references.


Operations Manager

While Earnie is not described as the “quirky” guy, he is his own brand of awesome.  Earnie knows the state of Indiana like the back of his hand.  He is the guy that coordinates all deliveries from 5 locations to the entire state of Indiana and parts of Ohio with a 50-75 person team of delivery professionals.  He helps keeps the kitchens informed and our clients happy.
