At this point, you’re probably tired of everyone asking you what the theme is, but it’s an important detail you shouldn’t leave out when interviewing a caterer. Moreover, it’s also important to describe the venue whether it’s a hotel ballroom, rustic barn, or rooftop in the city.
Make sure your caterer can come up with a meal plan for you that is appropriate for the vibe of your event. Serving BBQ may be perfect for an outdoor wedding, but not so much for the “Under Parisian Lights” theme you’ve had on your Pinterest board for years.
Don’t Forget the Money, Honey
When interviewing potential caterers, ask for a quote that includes taxes, any gratuity or service fees, and delivery fees if applicable. Don’t forget wedding-specific details like bottle service fees, a cake cutting fee, or if a champagne toast is included!
